The final round of the OHL Classic at Mayakoba was suspended due to darkness, with Graeme McDowell and Russell Knox tied for the lead, with lots of golf still to be played.

Graeme and Russell had scores of -19 under par when play was suspended at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba, both with plenty of holes to play. Heavy rain caused a delay of more than three hours.
Graeme was happy with his putting after the long delay;
“After the delay, really, really happy with some of those putts I made.”
“It’s a bit of a shootout so you’ve just got to keep sort of the pedal down out there and try and shoot and score.”
Russell was concerned with his mental state;
“I’m going to have a mental breakdown next week, probably.”
Jason Bohn is in third place, two shots back at -17 under par, with Scott Brown and Derek Fathauer tied in fourth position at -15 under par.
Jason struggled with his putting in the gloomy conditions;
“It’s hard to get into a good rhythm but it is what it is, I don’t think I did so great when I went back out in the warmup, I just didn’t make many putts.”
“But it was a little dark, to be honest. It’s pretty difficult even when there’s just an overcast sky, you can’t really see the break in the green as well and I didn’t really hit too many good putts coming in.”
So it will be a Monday finish here in Mexico, rain in Mexico !! it must be some kind of record;
Graeme summed it up perfectly;
“I think a normal golf course with this type of rain would not stand up to being playable.”
“So big hats off to them, I know they’ve been working hard all week, the greens staff.”
