Jung-Min Lee from South Korea wins the World Ladies Championship, at Mission Hills in China.
The World Ladies Championship was won by Jung-Ming with a final round -6 under par 66, to post a winning total of -9 under par. South Korea dominated this competition claiming the top five places on the leaderboard, as well as taking the Team Title.
Jung-Ming was surprised with her win, she also claimed the Team Title with her playing partner Jin-Young Ko;
“I was very surprised to win because I didn’t feel that I played my best and I wasn’t in the leading group.”
“My main goal this year is to get my best ever score on the KLPGA Tour.”
Seung-Hyun Lee, -1 under 71 today, Bo-Kyung Kim -3 under 69 and Han Sol Ji -1 under 71, all tied in second place at -8 under par for the tournament.
Ji-Hyun Oh was fifth, -1 under 71 in the final round giving her a -7 under par tournament total.
Yu Liu , China and Saraporn Chamchoi of Thailand tied for sixth place, both on -6 under par.
