Luke shot a third round -2 under par 69 to top the RBC Heritage leaderboard with a -7 under par total, and will take a one shot lead into tomorrow’s final round.
Luke is looking to end his hard-luck history at Harbour Town, having five top-three finishes without a win;
“I think it’s a bit dangerous to say a place owes you.”
“I can’t sit back on my heels.”
“Certainly, I’ve knocked on the door many times. I’d love to put that tartan jacket on tomorrow.”
Jason Kokrak, -3 under par 68 today, and Charley Hoffman, even par 71, share second place, that one shot back at -6 under par.
Charley let it all slip late in the day, carding two bogey’s on final two holes. He said he needs to dig down and come up with something special;
“Hopefully, I can reach down deep, I know I’ve done it before.”
Patton Kizzire holds fourth spot at -5 under par, he carded an even par round of 71.
World number one Jason Day signed for a +8 over par 79, making five bogeys in a six-hole span, even though he felt there was a good score to be had on the day;
