Ariya Jutanugarn holds on to win the  Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic on the  Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, Senator Course and becomes the first player from Thailand to win on the LPGA Tour.

Ariya had to par the final hole to win the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic, a Mothers Day win, by just one shot, with a -14 under par total. Her last round of even par 72 contained four birdies cancelled out by four bogeys, three of them on the par fives !!

“Thank you for my mom for being with me all the time to support me and happy Mother’s Day.”

“So tough, I feel the three holes I can’t control anything.”

 “My legs were shaking, my hands were shaking.”

Amy Yang, -5 under 67 today, Morgan Pressel -4 under 68, and Stacy Lewis, the defending champion, -4 under 68, all tied in second place at -13 under par.
