Happy Ha Na Jang has control over the Fubon LPGA Championship and will take a six stroke lead into the final round tomorrow at Miramar Golf & Country Club in Taiwan.
Ha Na posted a fabulous -10 under par 62 in the third round of the Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship, posting a 54 hole total of -16 under par, and was surprised at how easy it was in the difficult conditions;
“Really surprise my play because weather so bad on the back nine.”
“But just be patient every hole. Just simple my thinking. Just thinking hitting the flag and the hitting the fairway and really good score.”
Shanshan Feng is in second place at -10 under par, she carded -5 under 67 today, but realistically has no chance of catching the leader tomorrow, unless she can shoot 62 herself in the final round;
“I would say overall the first few days I’ve done well. In the past three weeks I’ve had some very good tournaments.”
“So I’m just happy that I can keep on with my good condition. Somebody shot 62 today. Maybe I’ll shoot 62 tomorrow.”
Third place belongs to Hee Young Park at -9 under par, she had -3 under par 69 today.
World number one and defending champion Lydia Ko has no chance of retaining her title, -3 under 69 today gives her a -4 under total, 12 shots off the pace.
