Rod, from Australia, carded a completed -3 under par 68 today in the second round of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open to maintain his position at the top of the leaderboard at -14 under par, as darkness once again prevented the second round to be completed by everyone.
Rod was happy that no one had put in a low round today;
“You know, no one really in the groups this afternoon have gone super low.”
“We’re right there, as the leader. I don’t know if we’ll finish there, but just the confidence I’ve got in myself.”
“I can’t worry about what anyone else is doing. I’m just going to do what I’ve been doing, which has been good enough so far to be tied for the lead, so hopefully in two more days it’ll still be there.”
Brooks Koepka is in second place with his finished second round of -4 under 67, giving him a -13 under par total.
Currently in third place is Aaron Wise, a -7 under round with only 14 holes completed gives him third on his own at -12 under par. Aaron is the only player with an unfinished round who can change the top of the leaderboard, when he resumes his second round tomorrow.
