Kevin carded a third round -1 under par 71 to claim the lead in the Valero Texas Open with a -8 under par tournament total, in strong winds that kept scores on the high side;
“It was about finding a rhythm,I knew when I found it, I could extend it. You can get it going on the finishing stretch.”
“I knew my game was in a good place, I had played some really good rounds of golf.”
Brandon Grace-2 under 70 today and John Huh, -1 under 71 share second place at -7 under par.
Brandon found the strong wings irritating;
“It was pretty irritating out there.”
“Pars out there are good. Just have to be patient.”
Bud Cauley and Tony Finau both signed for +2 over par 74 today, dropping them back into the huge tie for 6th place at -6 under par.
Tomorrow will be an exciting day, with lots of players in with a chance of victory,
