It’s a Monday finish for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans after Team Jonas Blixt / Cameron Smith tied with Kevin Kisner / Scott Brown. An amazing Eagle chip in from Kevin on the 18th setting up the play-off. There was only enough light left to play one extra hole, the par five 18th, and both teams made par.

Both of these teams at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans finished with -27 under par, Jonas / Cameron -8 under 64 on the day, while Kevin / Scott shot -12 under 60 in Sunday’s Four-Ball format.
Kevin knew he had a chance watching the ball roll across the green;
“We knew we had to have it, all I was trying to do was make sure I didn’t leave it short.”
“I couldn’t see much. I knew it was breaking a little right, and when it hit the flag I said, don’t you come out of there.”
Jonas knew what was needed to stop them winning in regular time;
“You have to expect the unexpected.”
“We have another shot at it tomorrow, and we just have to leave this behind and try to go out there and make birdie or eagle on 18 tomorrow and try and win this tournament.”
Cameron had to make a short putt, just to get into the play-off; after having victory snatched from them;
“It was tough, but we fought well on the back nine.”
Kelly Kraft / Kevin Tway finished in third place with a -23 under par total, they carded -11 under 61 for their last round together.
Kevin really enjoyed his week;
“That’s probably the most fun I’ve ever had in a golf tournament for sure, playing with one of my best friends.”
“I hope they keep this tournament around. It was really fun.”
Kelly also had fun out there;
“Honestly this week was more fun than Pebble, having Kevin with me, and kind of having someone to celebrate with you.”
“It’s not just you and your caddie out there, it’s you and another partner.”
