Jason fired a second round -8 under par 62 to lead the AT&T Byron Nelson at -12 under par, and amazingly has a five shot advantage over the field going into the week-end.

Jason said good putting was the key today;

“With my game I don’t always hit it so good, which is frustrating.”

“Any time you can have no bogey’s on the card, is good for me.”

“I was happy today, made some really good putts, one great one to start the day, to start the tone.”

Billy Horschel is in second place, at -7 under par, after carding a – 5 under par 65 today.

World number one Dustin Johnson is T-3 at -6 under par shooting a second consecutive -3 under 67, sharing that position with Byeong Hun An, -4 under 66 today, Cameron Tringale, -2 under 68, Bud Cauley, -3 under 67, James Hahn, with even par 70, and Jhonattan Vegas, -2 under 68.

Jordan Spieth made a quadruple-bogey 9 at the par five 16th hole to miss the cut by one shot at +3 over par;

“Just kind of a fluke couple shots and fought hard. Had two really good looks in the last two holes and missed one to the right and one to the left.”

“Pretty disappointed at this point in time”
