Jason Dufner is flying high at the top of the Memorial Tournament leaderboard at Muirfield Village, and will take a five hot lead into the week-end.
Jason shot another -7 under 65 in the second round of the Memorial Tournament at Jack’s Place, to sit comfortably on top of the leaderboard at -14 under par, with better putting;
“When you’re not holing putts, it puts more pressure on every part of your game.”
“You feel like you have to get your irons closer, take more chances from time to time.”
“You feel like your chipping and your pitching has to be perfect so you can make pars when you need to.”
“You feel like your lag putting has to be good if you’re not holing putts. It can manifest itself into something you don’t want out there.”
“To be honest, tomorrow is another day, I’m working on my breathing.”
“We’ve got two more rounds to go. We’ll see how the course changes if the wind picks up, gets running fast, it plays different. We’ll just see.”
“If we get some showers like they’re talking about it will be soft and be a little bit more scoreable.”
Daniel Summerhays is in second place, those five shots back at -9 under par, a second round -3 under par 69 giving him that place on his own.
Rickie Fowler carded -6 under par 66 to claim third spot at -8 under par for the competition.
