There is a three-way tie at the top of the Manulife LPG Classic after 36 holes at Whistle Bear Golf Club in Canada. Lexi Thompson, Alena Sharp and Hyo Joo Kim share the half-way lead.
Lexi, U.S.A. -7 under 65 today, Alena, Canada, -6 under 66 and Hyo Joo, South Korea, -5 under 67 share the top spot on the Manulife LPG Classic leaderboard at -12 under par for the competition.
Local favorite Alena had the benefit of good vibes today;

“Had a good warm up and just felt; I don’t know. This week has been different.”
“I just walked up to the golf course yesterday and today just feeling like it was going to be a good day. Just had these good vibes coming out.”
Lexi, trying to become the first two-time winner here, said she was having fun playing this course;
“I’m playing very well so far. Overall just having fun on the golf course, staying very relaxed, and focusing on doing my routine.”
“I played some great golf, so hopefully that will continue into the weekend.”
They are closely followed by three ladies at -11 under, Perrine Delacour from France, with an amazing new course record of -10 under par 62 today, Lindy Duncan U.S.A. -7 under 65, and In Gee Chun, South Korea, with -6 under 66 for today’s round.
Lindy was glad she had sorted out her problems with the putter;
“I spent 20 minutes on the practice green yesterday fixing it.”
“Yesterday I hit like 17 greens and couldn’t make any putts. Then today I had really good putting.”
