Jon Rahm, Spain, joins Daniel Im, USA, at the top of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open leaderboard after 54 holes at Portstewart Golf Club, in Northern Ireland.
Jon, -5 under par 67 shares the lead with Daniel, -4 under 68 at the top of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open leaderboard with -17 under par totals for 54 holes.
Jon’s putter was red hot on the back nine, as he tries to add to Spanish history at this event;
“It could be a very special day tomorrow, this tournament has a great Spanish history and it would be great to join that.”
“To achieve a goal that wasn’t in my mind or in my plans at the beginning of the year would be absolutely special.”
“The putts weren’t dropping on the front nine but I just stayed patient.”

Benjamin Herbert, France, is in third place, one shot back at -16 under par, following his third round -3 under 69.
Hideto Tanihara, Japan, holds fourth position on his own at -15 under par, he scored -6 under 66 today to move up the leaderboard.
Julien Quesne, France, has -14 under par, while Scott Hend, Australia, Ryan Fox, New Zealand, and Justin Rose and Oliver Fisher from England, are all at -13 under par for the tournament, and are still very much in it.
