Kanyalak Preedasuttijit of Thailand wins the Ladies European Thailand Championship on her home course at Phoenix Gold Golf and Country Club in Pattaya.
Kanyalak won the Ladies European Thailand Championship with a final round -3 under par 69 and a tournament total of -15 under par, a one shot winning margin;
“I tried to control my own game and it was very consistent, so I felt confident.”
“I had practiced a lot at Phoenix, but I didn’t want to put pressure on myself so I didn’t look at the score.”
Selin Hyun the amateur player from South Korea claimed second place with a -14 under par total, with her amazing last round of -7 under 65.
Chonlada Chayanun , Thailand finished in third place with a -3 under 69 to end up four strokes back in third place at -10 under par, but did take home the second place prizemoney because Selin was an amateur.
The relentless heat got to many of the European players, so it was no surprise to see local players dominate the top of the leaderboard.
