Ariya Jutanugarn, Thailand, wins the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open at Gullane Golf Links in Scotland.

Ariya carded a final round -5 under par 66 to win her third title of 2018 the Ladies Scottish Open, with a -13 under total,

“It means a lot to me to win the tournament.”

I told the caddie this week, you know, what I really want to win on a links course, even one time in my life will be good, so right now my dream come true.”

Minjee Lee of Australia, also -5 under 66 today, was in second place at -12 under par, missing a birdie putt on the last hole to force a play-off.

Minjee said  she had been striking the ball and putting very well;

“I was striking the ball pretty well and putting probably the best I have out of the last three days, four days.”

“Overall, it was a good week and looking forward to next week.”

Third place was shared between two ladies from South Korea at -8 under par, Jin Young Ko, -4 under 67 today, and Haeji Kang carding a final round -2 under 69.

Carlota Ciganda from Spain was the only player to be under par for all four rounds, she finished T 5 at -7 under;

 “I’m happy the way I played. I always enjoy playing here in the U.K. I think it’s a good week to prepare for The Open for next week.”

“I’m happy the way I played and excited for next week.”

“You can get four seasons in one day here. We had great weather the first two days.”
