Georgia completed a third round -3 under par 69 to stay on top of the Cambia Portland Classic leaderboard at -18 under, giving her a two stroke advantage going into the last round tomorrow;

“You know, 16 and 17 are tough holes, especially with both pin positions, so I was very happy to hole some putts that I didn’t really hole much today.”

“I didn’t start amazing, but the pin positions were probably the toughest the week so far, so 3-under today, and the wind got up a bit, so yeah, I’m happy with that, and I’ve got a two-shot lead.”

“There’s still a lot of golf to play, but looking forward to tomorrow.”

“It’s fun. I treat it a bit like match play, which I love, and I had that similar at the British.”

“But I just think it’s a lot more exciting, and I’m really excited for me, as well, so I look forward to it.”

“I’m sure Minjee is looking forward to it, as well.”

Minjee Lee of Australia is the nearest challenger in second place at -16 under par following her third round -4 under 68;

“I don’t know where the pin placements are going to be, and if they’re tucked, they’re really hard to get to, and especially if you’re not in the fairway, then you really have to take your medicine and just play to the middle of the green.”

“I think it just depends, there’s a lot of opportunities out here, so whenever I get a chance, I’ll try and take advantage.”

Third placed Marina Alex, USA, carded a third round -1 under 71, dropping her to – 12 under for the tournament;

“So it’s just kind of tough mentally to just realize, yeah, you’re still playing good, it’s just the first day was special.”

“So I’m hoping I have another special one in the bag tomorrow.”
