Carlota, who is looking for her first major title loves the course, and her solid putting;

 “It was great round for me today. I played very solid.”

“Off the tee I hit all the fairways and then I was hitting close on the greens, especially the back nine, which was my front nine.”

“Also my putting was very solid. I make some good putts: a save on 16 for par. Then I played really good on the par fives, -3 under.”

“I love this place. I love playing in Europe. My friends are here, some friends, so I really like the atmosphere.”

Rookie Maria is the first lady from Puerto Rico to get an LPGA Tour card;

“I just want to come here and play, and whatever happens, happens.”

“It’s awesome to be here, I love it.”

“I’m like almost rolling down the par threes with all I’ve been eating here.”

Austin Ernst, USA, has third place at -5 under, following her opening round 66.

A  group of three ladies are tied in fourth spot with rounds of -4 under 67,  Nasa Hataoka, Japan, Brooke Henderson, Canada, and So Yeon Ryu of South Korea.
