Lexi Thompson, USA, won LPGA Tour finale the CME Group Tour Championship, while Ariya Jutanugarn from Thailand was crowned winner of the Race to CME Globe at Tiburón Golf Club in Florida.
Lexi was happy to win her first LPGA Tour title of the year, and by a whopping four shots at -18 under;

World #1 Ariya won the Race to the CME Globe and picked up the $1 million bonus that goes with it.
Ariya won just about everything except this tournament. Winning the Vare Trophy with a scoring average of 69.415, and the LEADERS Top 10 competition with seventeen top ten finishes, also the Money title at $2,667,983;
“Of course, I want to win the tournament.”
“When you look at all the trophy, of course I want to win everything if I can.”
“But when I keep thinking about that it’s never helps me to get it.”
“Since like last year when I start to thinking become world number, I try to win more tournament, it’s getting worse all the time.”
“So this year is mainly just work on that. I achieve my goal this year a lot.”
Tournament second place, at -14, under went to Nelly Korda, USA, with third spot being shared by Brittany Lincicome, USA, and So Yeon Ryu of South Korea with -13 under par totals.
