Belgium, Pieters/ Detry carded -1 under while South Korea, An/ Kim went round in even par to both be tied at the op of the World Cup of Golf at -10 under par.
Thomas Pieters said they played fine as a team;
“I think we played very solid, both of us were pretty on.”
“The short game was pretty good today. It’s nice to know when I hit it to five feet he’s always going to make it.”
“I told him if he puts me in the bunker today, it’s fine.”
Thomas Detry mentioned the consistent pouring rain;
“Waking up this morning and getting here, it was just like horizontal rain.”
“The wind got up and didn’t drop so it was just a tough day all around.”
“Happy it’s done and I’m excited for my shower tonight.”
Sharing third spot at -8 under are, England, Poulter/ Hatton, +2 over 74 today, Italy, Paratore/ Pavan, -1 under 71, India, Lahiri/ Bhullar, even par 72, and Malaysia, Green/ Leong, +1 over 73.
Everyone is praying for better weather for tomorrow’s four-balls, and normal service can then resume.
