Brooks had a even par 70 third round, but still stayed seven shots clear of his nearest rivals with his -12 under par tournament total;
“I’m definitely not going to let up.”
“I know guys are going to have to push on this golf course, and if you have to push, you’re going to make mistakes.”
“I feel confident. I feel good. I feel excited, I was excited to get to the golf course and try to build the lead.”
“I know what I’m doing. It’s simpler than what guys think, it’s just focus. It’s grind it out, suck it up and move on.”
Sharing second place, seven shots back at -5 under are four players, world #1 Dustin Johnson, -1 under 69 today, Harold Varner 111, -3 under 67, Jazz Janewattananond, Thailand, -3 under 67, and Luke List -1 under 69.
No one has a chance to catch Brooks, especially on this course, best score today was -3 under, and tomorrow the pins will be in harder positions.
