Justin Thomas cruised to victory in the BMW Championship, which put him in #1 spot for the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club next week in the finals of the FedExCup.

Justin shot -4 under par 68 to win the BMW Championship by three strokes at -25 under par at Medinah Golf Club in Chicago;
“I was really nervous today. It’s hard to play with a lead.”
“You don’t know how often things like this will happen, and it feels great.”
“The birdie on 11 was huge, that propelled me for the rest of the round.”
Patrick Cantlay was second with a -22 under total, a last round -7 under 65 was a great effort, but of course JT had a six shot cushion to play with at the start of play today;
“I knew I had to make birdies.”
“I needed to make any of the putts on 12, 14 or 15 if I really wanted to get some momentum on my side.”
“Seemed like him saving par on 12 was big. Then obviously I tried to get one back on 13, and then he made it on top of me.”
“So he just played really well. It was going to be hard for me to get to 25 under anyway.”
Hideki Matsuyama from Japan claimed third place with a -20 under total after shooting another -9 under par 63 round today.
